Message	Because it's closer to the battery. From there you run under the door sill. If you remove the carpet there are little 1.25" or so diameter plastic circles covering holes in the channel. You can get in there with needle nose pliers and coax it along. In your case, I would just use a 4' long piece of wire, stiff enough it won't fold when run through the channel, and then pull your wire through that way.
